Garden of Peace dedication photos

Retired Superior Court Judge Robert Miller speaks at the dedication of the Garden of Peace. Seated on the speakers' platform behind Judge Miller are St. Joseph County Commissioner Dave Thomas and South Bend Center for the Homeless director Steve Camilleri. In the background, to the left of the picture, is one of the pillars marking the entrance to the garden, which will be a final resting place for veterans who are homeless or of limited means. The Garden is located on county-owned land south of the Portage Manor. Judge Miller was one of the driving forces behind the project. (Photo by Ron Garrett)
